Well i decided id eventually get round to reducing the flow on my Stingray filter for the fishes sake, it says on websites that theyre adjustable. So i took the head off my filter and plunged its casing back in the tank for the bacterias sake. Couldnt find anywhere to adjust it.

So, i started putting tights, just a part of the tights, over the whole head as an attempt to reduce the power of the flow coming out, and its worked okay. I stare at my tank and i couldnt see my betta, then i found him hiding in there

Also could anyone tell me, is this the formation of a bubble nest? Do they do them relatively quickly or over time? Now and then he lets a couple of bubbles off, but not many.

aww cute lil guy, as for bubble nests, mine was at his all day and it was about the size of an apple and quite thick, but i suppose the more practice the better and quicker they become :good: also the filter may stop the bubble nest, maybe add a floating plant, or styrophome sp? cup for him to build one under
