Checkerboard Cichlid Stuck To The Bottom

One of my checkerboard cichlid has been sort of dragging himself the bottom of the tank for a while now (Maybe 2-3months) he seems to be able to swim up a tiny bit but not much, he's starting to look quite thin now but thats the only other symptom I can see, and I think this is just cause its harder for him to get food, now I'm making sure he gets a fair portion. Anyone got any ideas what it might be? All my tank parameters are fine and well suited to the fish, no new additions, nothing unusual in the tank, all other fish are fine and the tank isn't over stocked.

does its tail move at all?

if not i would suggest it has a spinal problem

other than that it could be a swim bladder problem...

try feeding him sinking pellets.. and just make life as comfortable as possible for him
