Check Valve For Red Sea Reactor 500

Hi guys,

I have a check valve that came with my red sea reactor, and at the moment I have it just before the reactor intake, underwater.

Now that it's the next day (this was at 1 o'clock in the morning mind you, so I wasent exactly thinking clearly) I realize that the check valve probrably needs to be OUT of the water. Am I correct in thinking this?

Yeah thats right Check valve or the non return valve does need to be out of the water.
