..@ Wilkinson!!!!

They do 4 litre fish bowls for a whopping £1.99
and 11 litre pet carrier type tanks for only 4.99

just thought they seemed ideal maybe for someone who loves bettas but has no space....maybe for breeders who need cheap small tanks after breeding....the 11 litres would make ideal hospital....quarantine or breeding tanks for many species!

anyway for UK people...just thought I'd share my discovery!

The bowls are pretty shoddy, the tanks are OK though, although they scratch pretty easily. The plastic storage containers are more practical for QT, fry etc.

just got to be careful, and I only meant for like cheap/easy....i never said they were ideal :p
and yes as I said before.....ideal in terms of quaratine/hospital and fry :)

Actually, just found I've had them for 2 1/2 years or so, so they're bound to be scratched...
ah yeah fair enough, I guess over time, with cleaning etc....
I just started using a rat carry case just to hold some baby java fern to give to a friend, i tried to clean a sticker off the front the other dya and already scratched it.

Personally I don't really like plastic tanks, I'd much rather pay about £8-9 and have a small clearseal tank for the job instead, at least it won't scratch!

I used to like the idea of biorbs until I found out they are acrylic...bleh!
