So I have two platies and three mollies. I am getting a new platy to help the female out, but there is quite a bit of chasing between the females and the one male mollies.

I was just wondering if some chasing was okay, and if so how would I know when it was too much? I have a 10g tank and along with these fish, I have a clown pleco and a snail. I've also planted grass, put in a good size rock and some drift wood for hiding places. Is there anything else I can do, aside from getting another tank, to reduce the amount of chasing in my tank?

I doubt there is much you can do with that much stock in a 10 gallon. The fish are feeling crowded and that is often all the trigger it needs for aggressive actions to come out.

Okay, so then if I was to take something out, they would become less aggressive, yes? I was told at the LFS that it didn't really matter as long as I have hiding spots and proper filtration. But yeah, I'll probably take out my platties then, thanks:)
