Channa Gachua, Info?

hey im new to this forum! i got a channa gachua around 3 weeks ago! iv been seaching everywhere for info on them, and well there isnt alot! i just hav some question..?
What is the ideal water temprature! at the moment is around 25,
i have him in a 70L tank is this an ok size?
i also hav a 800L tank with larger fish, but iv been told he'd be happier by himslef.,,?
emmm what else... ah iv got a fire Eel last week arond 6"... iv put him in the 70 L till he starts eating frozen foods, there were a few nips at first but now they get on fine,
is it ok to hav him on his own or do they like 2 be in pairs....?
he hangs around the top of my tank resting on my amazon sword.... he doest care if a pet him and lift him partially out of the water.... is it normal for them to be so trusting???
and how fast do they grow??

i know its alot of questions,,, but there seems to be alot a people who keep snakeheads on this forum! thanks for any info!

Hi mate, wow that seem's a large fire eel
It should be ok with the eel on a very temp basis, I have mailed you with some great infomation about keeping these beauty's...

thanks for the info!! very helpful!! its a 70L tank,,, the fire Eel will be going into my 800L soon. i wud like to put one fish in with him! as its a 70 L iv only a limited choice as the fish cant be to big or to small..,, Angel's prob get to big(i never owned one) but what about gourami's?? any suggestions on what fish wud be suitable for the tank size and wudnt be eatin up by the Channa?

I can;t be sure about Gachua but most Channa are species tank only fish

ps make sure you check you tank has no gap's or space's it can escape as the fishy escape artist's

you sure its a Gachua, the colouration and head shape looks like Parachanna Obscure to me...but it could be the camera angle

Yeah its deff a gachua, id say its just the camera angle, it hasnt got the longer head the Obscure has! as for colouration.... every pic of a gachua iv seen they hav diff coulours,,(probably just labled wrong)
