I recently got my betta and currently have him set up in a 1/2 gallon tank but I want to give him more room with a 2.5-3 gallon tank. So I was wondering if anyone has tank suggestions? :D
Also is there a certain way I should switch him over? I'll need a tank with some kind of a heater and he currently doesn't have one so is there a certain way to transfer him without too much stress, since the temperature and tank will be all new?

Here's a picture of him

Very nice betta you got there :good:

He will love a bigger tank with a heater, and filter of course, you can actually pick up tanks quite cheaply.

I recently picked up a 3 Gal for one of my Wild bettas about to drop fry from Wilkinsons for £5.99, a small 25 watt heater and a small filter and all good (i already had these so worked out cheap for me)

if you look around (ebay/craigslist/aquarists classfied/gumtree) you might find a larger tank for cheap local with filter heater included :good:

Ooh so as long as there is a filter and a heater is should be a good tank?
Is there any certain way to to switch him over to the new tank, or can I just add him in?

And thanks  I saw him and just had to get him haha

you will need to acliatise him in the new tank,

take it the current tank has no filter?

if not you will need to be doing water changes often to keep the ammonia down until the new filter cycles :good:

And thanks  I saw him and just had to get him haha

I know that feeling far to well

Is he a Doubletail?

Yeah right now he's just going on water changes and has no filter
How would I do that? XD sorry I feel so unknowing of what to do but really want to get him a new tank to swim around in :D

XD they just look so nice and pretty and  I spent so much time just watching him swim around haha and that's in just a tiny bowl, watching him in a tank should be fun
Yeah, he's a double tail :D part of the reason I like him so much is the heart shape, so cute

i know i love Doubletails too, was lucky enough to get 2 from my local store that usually on has Veitails.

He will love the extra space you'll be surprised how much they change with more space

I just went to search for a betta and there he was on my first attempt he has quite the personality
I can't wait until he's in a new tank
Thanks :D
