changing my mind....

im starting to change my mind about what to put in my 60G, im starting to think knife fish of some sort...ne comments r suggestions on this.......buuuuut..this is only if my cichlids can live in there 35 happily???

I know this isn't very helpful and please don't take it the wrong way, but.... cichlid questions go in the cichlid section of the forum which is why its there and, why can't it help if you just do a tad of research or check out the search engine on the forum instead of asking everyone straight away before you've even made any attempt to look up anything yourself?

well actually i have been doing reasearch all day....but i thought id actually ask something which can talk back...and has expirences....and as ive already sed i would post it in the cichlid forum is there was ne one there...and also knife fish are not cichlids....and i was asking for comments on then...and yes i know it could go in the oddball forum....

What are you talking about with knife fish?? ive never mentioned them ever!
And there are people on both cichlid sections of the forum, and there were last time you said that too- 5 in fact.

I know nothing about knife fish....

but i would like to share this. I recently set up a 45 gallon tank dedicated to a few types of barbs, and I am loving it. These fish are always so active and fun to watch, a nice variety of colours, they are very aggresive feeders and love to eat. It is a very nice tank, so maybe that is something to think about.

Barbs or danios would make for a nice active tank, so would some of the larger tetras.

BOD dont worry about tokis I think she's got PMS 24/7 and as for the accuraccy of whos on the forums list that about as accurate as a scud missile, theres been times I've been logged off my system for over 10 minutes (ok maybe 5) and it still registers that I'm there on my wifes system. And as you where asking (or at least making mention of) 2 or more types of fish your more than justified posting it here. I have no experience with knife fish other than that we will be building or next tank around one (at least 5' to give it the space it deserves) in about 2-3 months.

yea ive also been looking at the brown ghost knife....they dont get as big i dont think....
