changing furniture!

HI guys,
I'm changing the shelf that my fish tank is on to another piece of furniture. I'm presuming the 60 litre tank is too heavy to pick up and that the tank would break.
What procedure should i use to not have to get rid of the water?

Hi and to the forum, brendan!

You shouldn't try to move a tank full of water. If you have a bucket that has never had soap in it, you can siphon some water from the tank into the bucket, move the tank to whereever you plan to move it, and then pour the water back in the tank. GL

As said previously try siphoning the water into buckets, you do not need to keep all the water, make sure you keep the filter media + gravel in water when moving as thats where the bulk of bacteria live.
