As I still endevour to find my perfect upgrade, I've come across a few tanks previously used for marine that fit the bill nicely, but I would to be sure of how I prep the tank for freshwater inhabitants.

Is it simply a case of filling and and scrubbing the tank with tap water several times to remove the traces of salt? Or is there something else I need to consider?

I dont usually bump threads, but this must be an easy one to answer?

anyone?

Yeah, im pretty sure a good scrub with water, you can also use vinegar which would be ok, only thing with marines is that tanks can be set up pretty differently, with holes drilled, sumps and left over coraline algae which can be tough to get off.

cheers. Tank appears to have no marine 'remnants' on the glass. If it's pre-drilled that will be ok as I will adapt my external to use the holes.
