Im not going to use bottled Ammonia anymore. I am going to use the old wait until the shrimp is fully decomposed method.
I have 1 question though;
When the Amminoa starts increase at what reading should i take? or should i put in little bits first see how much that increases first?

thanks guys and sorry for dicken everyone around im just getting nervous!

i will start slowing down on the reports to, sorry mods!

thanks

Bump anyone done this?? Or should i just slowly add fish?? 1 fish a week?

Thank guys

It really is in yours (and your tanks') best interest to use bottled ammonia for a fishless cycle, the main reason being that you can determine and govern how much goes into your tank...too little and nothing happens, too much and the wrong type of bacteria MAY start to grow. I am sure there are hobbyists on here that have used the dead shrimp method, i haven't, so cannot comment on how and what to do.
One question though, do you know anyone with a healthy, mature tank and filter?

Terry.
