Welcome to the forum Guppyman.
I find that adequate cover in my guppy tank means that I always have fry surviving. In my case the cover is a handful of java moss but any cover will do. If the adults are well fed, which it sounds like yours are, the fry will survive in large enough numbers that further precautions about saving fry are not needed. In my 10 gallon, a starting trio of adult guppies has given me enough surviving fry that I sold about 10 adults last fall, then I sold another dozen to a fellow club member and today I only have about 20 adults and another 30 or more fry in that same 10 gallon tank. Every time I have have opportunity I sell off all of the adult guppies that I can catch and just wait for the fry to grow up and become my breeders. This also means that most of the fry that I deal with are highly inbred, but as long as I cull the deformed fry I am actually improving my colony's quality. These days I find that other knowledgeable club members want to get more of my fish because of the quality that they see in my fish that started out being nothing better than generic AOC pet shop guppies that I have allowed to breed rather freely in proper guppy conditions with almost no culling required.
