Ceramic Diffuser

I have started to use one instead of my inline reactor but the whining noise it makes is annoying me. It was a cheap one off ebay and wondered if a more expensive one might be better.

I use a rhinox diffusor (I guess mid-priced) and it makes a high pitched noise when the CO2 is on. As it is in a quiet room it does get annoying, but I don't think it would go away with a more expensive diffusor.

I've used a few ceramic diffusers now and all have made a high pitched noise as the bubbles pass through the ceramic. Having tinnitus means that I've plenty of other high pitched noises going around in my head anyway so this particular noise doesn't bother me

Thanks for your advise. At least I know its not broken. Looks like i will be hocking back upup my inline reactor .
