Well I'm buying a 29g Biocube and am making it a nice planted tank for the room just off of the kitchen. Problem is, I can't decide on which fish I could use as my "centrepiece" fish.

Stocking I had in mind was

15x Harlequin Rasboras - 5 regular, 5 black, and 5 pink
POSSIBLE some Sterbai corys, but not 100%

I just need a cool centrepiece fish that would go along well with these guys and look good.

IMO Gourami's or Rams, but thats cuz i'm a fan of them =P
They do look great though.
I would go with a pair of german rams, or maybe 3 pearl gouramis

a Pair of healthy
Golden Rams,
German Rams
or
Bolivian rams woulld look good :p

or a chocolate gourami is cool

I was also thinking either a pair of Bolivians or Germans, or perhaps a nice big Moonlight gourami or gold gourami...but was worried about the Ram's aggression. HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

thx though, I'll probably just end up going with one of those. + a khuli loach :)

Rams do really look good in a community planted aquarium, they are really fun to watch and they are only agressive to each not other fish so no need to worry and if your lucky enough to get a pair :p
