Celebes Halfbeak

I just bought a male celebes halfbeak. I'm wondering if he will eat my newborn endler fry? I bought him hoping that he would, since I somehow need to control the fry population.

Halfbeaks will eat livebearer fry if they come into range, but they aren't particularly predatory, and won't go out of their way to chase down fry or pick them off from underneath plants.

Agree, from Experience they never really went after any fry, unless they were in range at the surface. Always found that they preferred MealWorm Pupae's
