Mine seem fine after being in water for over 3 years, while i don't doubt you, i'll be sure to drop you a message when i see my nuts rotting.

I've had some five years or so and they're fine. They might rot if you boiled them first; some people seem to be obsessed with boiling stuff for hours before it goes in their tanks.

ya i now that i think about it i think they only rot if its humid and hot
