Cave Or Plant For Dwarf?

I have a new Dwarf Gourami and after reading up about him yesterday I'd like to keep him as stress free as I can. I have some fake plants and a cave and I'm wondering would he benefit more from some real plants or a cave to hide in. My tank has gravel.

I have a new Dwarf Gourami and after reading up about him yesterday I'd like to keep him as stress free as I can. I have some fake plants and a cave and I'm wondering would he benefit more from some real plants or a cave to hide in. My tank has gravel.

It's always best to use real plants if you can. Good for the fish and good for the water. He also might like a cave as well. Coconut shells are very popular and look nice with some moss attached.

Sadly my dwarf seems unwell guys. Not eating, bloated and lethargic. I've decided to take him back to the lfs as I don't feel much hope from all I've read about these poor little things. So sad cos he was beautiful.
