Caught Some Killies In The Everglades...

hey guys.
went dipnetting with my club for the first time and had a blast.
caught over 200 fish, shrimp, crayfish and snails (plus snakes, prating mantis, spiders, etc)

anyways. here are the killies i caught that made it home. at least 5-6 were lost in transport as temps were excruciatingly hot.
i know nothing about these fish, so i'm wondering what type they are, how common, and whether or not they have a chance with african cichlids

i read that they haven't been bred in aquaria before?
i dont know if transporting killie eggs is the way to go, but it would def. be easier for me to catch and send you adults like these than convince them to spawn and have the eggs survive in my tank!

i had really hoped they would all school together, but they're not doing it they usually go around in pairs, sometimes male/female, sometimes both males, but not all 5 together

Sending killifish eggs is easier.
I frequently send and recieve eggs between my counterparts in the States.
Did you take any water tests from the type locality.

nope, didnt think of bringing my test kit.

hey...took some new pictures...1 male died of unknown reasons. i have 2 males and 2 females left. look at the color difference in the dorsal and anal fin between the males:

i'm trying to catch them with their fins spread open, it's quite beautiful....

by the way made a much much better video of them, just need to put it all together and edit it. it'll go up this week hopefully!
