Ok ive just had a juwel rekord 120 sent over from germany set it up and got 10 zebra danios to start it off......
now though i need to know if it be ok for me to get the folling fish once the tanks matured.
i want to get :
8 tiger barbs.
1 leopard catfish.
10 neon tetra.


would that be ok? i think the tanks around 36 gallon / 120 litres.

Those fish are compatible, add neon last they like a real mature tank

For a 36 gallon tank, you can get another tetra, barb or danio schoal in there .

The danios and the tetras that are on your current list does not bring alot of waste to your tank.

If you have good filteration and do your water changes you should be fine.

always do my water changes on my 60 litre tank and thats gr8 so yeah should be ok.
plus in the 120 ive added an extra fine blue sponge to the filter because juwel only gave me 1.

danios been in 2 days now and look well happy
also instead of getting an extra shoal would a betta be ok in that tank?

I would not recommed that with the tiger babrbs in there. My tigers dont bother other fish, but I am sure I am just lucky with that.

What kind of leopard catfish? could you get us a pic or a scientific name?

thats the 1 it says its fancy name is Corydoras aeneus and it only grows to 60mm.

That pic isn't showing..but anywho, the reason I was asking is because all corydoras species like to be in a shoal, so if youhave space you should get a few of them to make them fel secure and happy.
