Catfish + Planted Tank

I have two Tanks running atm but am curious as to wether my Bristlenose Catfish will anihilate my planted tank...

can you check my sig and see what you think.
My hunch is yes but best to ask those who know more than I do.

I wouldn't worry about your plants. I've kept my BN plec in my tank with loads of plants and he doesn't seem to bother with them. But I do have a lot of bogwood in my tank for him. As long as he's well fed and has some bogwood to rasp on, he should leave your plants alone.

probobaly, they dont destroy plants as much as they want to up root them. I have a 8.5" plec with plants, he just eats the algae off and then up roots them

yeah that was my biggest concern,
Uprooting all my plants lol

Regular plecs like the common and sailfin will uproot plants, BN CAN uproot but very rarely will.
