Carpet Like Plants?

Hey guys. I saw some of your pictures and some people have carpet like plants, moss or something?

can you tell me the names of some plants that can create a nice foreground carpeting, that may work over substrate mixed with small natural gravel?

here's a pic of my tank. The picture ruined how it really looks. much better in person, but you get the idea.

Call me dumb if you like but with a carpet of plants how do you vac the gravel?

You don't, you vac the carpet of plants which will have collected the vast majority of the detritus....
