Carinotetraodon Irrubesco - Red Eyed Red Tailed Puffer

Hi all, I've been looking around for these guys and was wondering if anyone knew where there are any for sale - I've asked Trimar and apparently they don't usually get them in - I'm up North however so can't really go that far for 'em - but mail order is fine.

Just wanted to know if anyone knew where there are any

Tropical Fish Finder reports that the Aquatic Design Centre in London and the Maidenhead Aquatics branches in St Albans and Guildford have them in stock. Not much help for you perhaps, but at least they are in the trade fairly widely now. I got some from BAS in Bolton a couple of months ago, and if you download the BAS stocklist, they're still on there.

Incidentally, there's much confusion in the trade between this species and C. lorteti, the two fish routinely being confused and even mixed in the same batch! So [a] do keep your eyes open when batches of C. lorteti come in; and be sure and check any C. irrubesco are what they should be before you bring them home!

Nope! That's Tetraodon mbu, I think, -- one of the *biggest* pufferfish rather than one of the smallest.
