Hey all.

I have a question about my plates.

should I add something to the plants can live on in a nano of 10 litres?
I have had it for 3 months and have 3 different kinds of plants
I don't have their names them.

Are they growing okay now?
Do you have problems with algae?
Would be great if you could find out what they are, or at least post photos of them.

just a few quick pics i took earlier, can take some more in a bit.

I can cut them a little so that you can see it in backgrounds

From a plant health point of view, from what I can see, everything is growing well and you've got no algae.

Absent any evidence of nutrient deficiency, I'd be tempted to leave as is.

It sounds good thanks.
so I won't do anything about it for now

yeah I agree. I kept plants for years not realizing anyone ever did anything but just stick them in the water. The easy ones can grow and thrive with just what the fish produce. There are tons of fertilizers and methods of fertilization, etc. but it is a deep rabbit hole and heck, your plants look pretty good to me. Much like Mikeyboy123 said, if it ain't broke don't fix it. :)

that is a good 😀
so my little nano is good 😀maybe I should start up one more nano? then maybe I can use some of the plants from the old one.
I don't want to mix line rice fish at all, because it keeps two colors together.
then one for the whites and one for the yellows 😀

sand and soil

heck yeah! I stuck with a 29 gallon for years, then quit the hobby. Came back with a 15 gallon and now i'm working on a 75 gallon (here's the journal if you need some sleepy-time reading). I've promised my wife that's the last one, but every flat surface in the house has potential- I know I want at least a nano shrimp tank and a nano reef tank.... far in my future (the 75 gallon will take time).

More tanks more tanks more tanks!!! :kana:

yes, it's quite a bedtime read 😄

your plants look good but it appears some of the leaves are yellow. Ifthis is correct you might be deficientm innitorgen. If your nitrate, nitrite, and ammonia test all show zero you probably are deficient in nitrogen. The best way to address a deficiency is only dose that one nutrient. That means a nitrogen only fertilize like Seachem nitrogen. You want to keep the nitrogen level low so add only enough to get green leaves. Old yellow leaves may not turn green with a nitrogen fertilizer. So focus on new leaves. You want to sea new green leaves. If you add to much nitrogen you might cause a micro nutrient deficiency (iron, Manganese, boron, zinc, copper, molybdenum and nickel). A micro nutrient deficiency in my experience caused cyan and hair algae issue. So if you see algae cut back on the nitrogen.
