Cardinal And Danio Food

I've just upped my cardinal and danio shoal. I'm feeding them on flake at the moment but i'm out of frozen food at the moment.
Are there any other home food they'll feed on like chopped up peas?

Flake food is a fine staple tbh, you can offer the odd blanched pea once a week but i wouldnt worry too much
