I've been reading a lot about oscars this last week and have found varied opinions about the use of carbon in Oscar tanks.

How many of you "do" or "dont" use carbon in your oscar tanks?

couldnt say for sure...but i brought carbon for my filter then after a couple of weeks started getting pin size holes and did a lot of research like you and everywhere said carbon can contribute to hith.....so i removed it....then after lots of water changes etc all seems good :good: i dont see why you need carbon in the filter anyhow,so i wouldnt bother to spend money on this as it loses it use so quick anyhow and exspensive....
so no i dont.....but i know of people who do with no probs so its up to you...but id say no
