hi am hoping for some help, does the carbon filter in an internal juwel filter remove liquid plant food as it does with meds?

Only neglible amounts. I run carbon in my filter.
Once it is saturated it is good for bacteria to colinize on.

Thanks, Aaron

the, majority, don't bother with carbon. especially the sponges jewel sell as carbon. though many still use it to remove meds. but, for the most part, thats all its used for. just replace the carbon sponge with any other.

I use activated carbon in my tanks. Removes next to nothing in terms of ferts. It does remove tannins as well as other things like organic waste. Water changes do this also, but I shall continue using carbon.
