Can't find any females!

Why can't I find any female bettas? I spanned three different towns and I went to Petco, Petsmart, 2 different wal marts, 5 pet shops and NONE of them had female bettas. I can't find any on AquaBid, either. Well, I found a group of 6 veils, but I can't handle 6 veils right now. I really want a crown, a hm plakat and a veil. I already have one each of those and I want to crowns and plakats for breeding. The woman at Wal Mart told me that she can have some female veils come in in two weeks, but I would really like some crowns or plakats for breeding. Does anyone have any for sale?

Were any of them in the US? I've been buying bettas from Thailand, and it's getting to cost a bit much. I'm trying to avoid buying from Thailand for a while.

I also saw a bunch of nice girls on Aquabid plus, you can check out Majestic Bettas, BettaTalk, etc if you want to order females. BT's females cost $20-40, so they're on the expensive end but they're awesome breeding quality I really want to snag the Blue Splash female for sale...

I am adopting 2 girls (crowntails but have minor tail defects that makes them not show quality) from Colorado Crowntails. I only had to pay shipping ($25 for both) They arrive tomorrow so I can update you.

Yes, I forgot that it's not the shipping that's getting me, it's Western Union. I can't get a PayPal account, so when I send money Western Union to Thailand, there's a HUGE transfer fee. If I could just get a PayPal account, life would be so much easier.
