Can't Close Mouth?!

Hi, Just wondered if anyone can help me? My fish (forgotten what sort of fish he is) can't seem to close his mouth? He cant eat and is panting. I dont think its mouth rot - I cant see any fury bits.
Anyone got any ideas what it could be?

I'm going to be honest, I have no idea what that could be. But, I think if you are able to post a picture or a video of your fish then some other experienced fish keepers would be able to help. I hope your fish is ok.

Is the fish on it's own, or are there any other fish in with it? Do you have gravel in the tank?

How many fish and which type?
It would also be helpful if you could post your water stats in ammonia,
nitrite, nitrate, and ph.
 
Has the fish been fighting. or locking jaws with another fish. Or had an
accident in the tank.
 
Can you also try and describe the fish in detail.

two catfish and 4 mollys and yes gravel.

Poor thing.
Size of tank in gallons? 14
How many fish and which type? 2 cuckoo catfish, 4 mollys and this fish.
It would also be helpful if you could post your water stats in ammonia,
nitrite, nitrate, and ph.

I havent noticed anything like that.

Silver with blue colours on top fin and green and blue on tail.

Looks like its dislocated its mouth from what i can make out.

Thank you for all your help. I got him out today for a closer look, hes got mouth rot. Ive started melafix so hope it helps him! X

Melafix is not good on rotting mouth. 
How far has the mouth rot gotten as it can soon start to spread to the face?

To about half way up the face. What would be better to treat it?

If the face has started to rot away there nothing left to do.
It might be better to end the fish suffering. So Sorry.
