Canister Filter

Heres the thing, I really like this hobby, and I wanna get some nice things for my fish. I'm kinda thinking of a new canister filter. I have a few links that I want you guys to look at and tell me what you think of them.

I have a 29 gallon tank that I'm gonna put a male and female convict in and let 'em have babies. Just to watch the parental behaviors. And if ya have any more suggestions I'd appreciate it.

Since I will be using it on a 29 gallon I will get the version of whichever filter rated for my tank.

A quick Q, typically could I get the same results with a normal hang on the tank filter?

I have a HOB filter on my 29 gallon and the water has never been cleaner. I would say you don't need to buy such an expensive filter unless you get a bigger tank with lots of fish. Since its only going to be a pair of convicts, theres no need to waste your money on a canister.
