Canaster Filter

i have 2 tanks a 70l and 300l both at same ph and temp, and want to make a canaster filter for them and i make 1 filter for both tanks or will i need to make 2 filters?
70l tank is on a desk and 300l is about 4-5 inches from ground and there are 2 meters apart

I think local fish shops run all their tanks one few filters. So in theory yes. Only thing that will be hard is the 2 tanks require different turn over rates. The minimum flow rate for your 300 would be a **** storm for your 70. So would have to find a way to control that

my lfs does it through a massive sump system.
water overflows into the sump.
gets pumped through LR filter and back into the tanks.
