My plant food doesn't seem to be lasting very long in my large tank.
So can I use the really heavily concentrated pond version? I can't remember the brand but saw it in a local shop today.
The bottle is twice as big and treats so much more water, will it be suitable? Thanks.

Plants in question are just anubias and java fern... Not difficult plants I know but ferts seem to be helping them loads!

I'm guessing the pond fert contains just trace elements? (boron, magnesium, copper, etc). If so then you might not see any difference because the plants might be wanted a source of macro nutrients, whether thats nitrates, phosphates or potassium.

EDIT: Just re-read the the thread. Yes I don't see why you shouldn't be able to use it. If the fert you use at the moment is doing well but runs out quickly then switching to a more concentrated fert makes sense.
