Can you tell if fish are happy?

I just recently put 3 of my platies into a smaller 10 gallon tank, they were in a 30 gallon with a lot more fish. One of them seems to hide alot and swim by the edges a lot, I was wondering if she misses the big tank with all of the other fish. Do you think she wants to go back into the big tank because she misses it?

You can tell when your fishes are happy or not, what are water stats just to make sure it isn't water quality thats making her feel like that.

I'm sure they will make out just fine in there new tank. I'm sure they just need a couple of days to setlle in before they calm down.

She's probably just not used to the new tank yet... give her a couple of days and she'll be back to normal I'm sure
