Can you recommend some Intermediate Plants?
The reason for this post is that we all, myself included recommend the same old plants to people new to plants, Anubias and Java Fern and Moss.
Now I realise it's more difficult to recommend Intermediate plants. Why? Because some people will recommend a plant which is really easy when you have a certain PH or CO2 or a fertilised substrate or other special conditions so it's much more difficult to suggest species.
So I guess the more difficult plants are to keep, the more niche the environment needed.
So I am going to say, for PH Neutral, 22 - 24 degress C with added CO2 but only poor mans ferts, no special substrate, can anyone recommend some easyish or intermediate plants? I'll start with Hydrocotyle leucocephala Brazilian Pennywort. Is the first plant I have added which is growing like mad.
Please feel free to chip in with some ideas.
