Hi,
I have a female Green Mandarin (Synchiropus splendidus) with my Seahorse's and it is feeding well on Frozen foods. Im getting a 30 UK Gallon tank as an upgrade soon and will obviously be taking the Mandarin over to that.
My question is if i can find a Spotted (s.picturatus) that eats frozen, will they go well together in the same tank? Would i have to get a male?
I will be getting a Spotted soon, hopefully in the same tank as my current Mandy or in with my Clowns.
This time, i may have a go at the way people get their Mandy's onto frozen when they add them, by keeping them in a breeding net for a few weeks, feeding enrichened brine everyday until it starts eating them, then adding frozen brine, then taking out the live brine and then adding mysis to the mix etc.

Cheers

yes you can keep green nd spotted mandarins together. Males will often fight but 2 females or a male and female of different species will be fine.
