Hello folks!!

First of all, Im new to this forum and that's my first post here!
I have an almost 1 year oscar who all of a sudden stopped eating. Its been like 1 month he is behaving in this way.
I checked the amonia as well as the nitrate level and they are extremely low (almost zero) and add to that I change water almost every 5 days (20% water change). So what's going on guys?? My oscar used to eat like a monster and now he barely tastes something and then spit it out. Im really worried.
I also tried to see if there are internal parasites but there are no symptoms. he is always swimming around in the aquarium perfectly and acts perfectly but the main issue is that he never wants to eat.
can you help me out please? What can I possibly do?

Thanks in advance!

Best regards,
Laurence.

Size of tank in gallons or litres.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.
Not eating can be many things, bored of its food, bacterial infection to internal parasites.
Check the gills over to see if they look pale with excess mucas on them, or red and inflamed.
The body of the fish does he look thin or bloated.
Does the fish look pale or darker in colour.

I have a 55 to 60 gallons aquarium + 2 other fish with the oscar: darb blue african fish about 4 inch and a 3 inch firemouth.
no my oscar looks drak in color, not pale at all.

I would read that link that emmsy has provided and see if you are meeting his diet needs.
Is he acting lethagic.
I would also post in the right part of the forum to see if you can get more help.
Also check when he goes to the toilet to see what colour his poops are.
