Plants I will have for sure are Anubia, Java fern and Moss. May have Cryptocoryne Wendtii, Vallisneria Spiralis.

Is this a good light?

What about over heating? When does one need a cooling fan?

Thanks, it's in my question at the top: 30" 29 gallon tank for SAP and gobies. I'll have to have plants that can withstand slightly brackish water.

I don't want to do anything really fancy, just have nice cover for my bumble bee gobies and a great planted background for my south american puffers. I'll have taller plants in back and short ones in the front.

I don't want o have to mess w/CO2, so I guess I should stay under 2 watts per gallon? The higher the wattage, the more likely CO2 will be needed right?

Check out tropica.com for plants that are ok in brackish water.
