Its sad to see, apparently that disease likes;
*lack of oxygen
*hard water
*High ph

i did have IAL (lowers PH) but i just tore little bits of as it turned the water yellow, maybe i should have added more

dont beat yourself up

i was lucky as i dont have a QT tank either, and you cant medicate for EVERY disease "just in case"

its quick though. took less than a day to wipe out Shylo
