Those lovely twiggy pieces u find for sale in the reptile section, are they safe for our finned friends or nay?

I have always wondered this myself. The best thing you can do is either give it a go  OR ask the shop who their dealer is and to get them to find out what processing the wood has gone through. I imagine it has been atleast sand blasted, but the possibility of chemicals might be there, I'm not sure.
Good luck.

They'll be no chemicals on it, as that would affect the herps, especially frogs.

I'd say it would be fine. If you wanna give it a go, get the smallest piece there and stick it in a large bowl and see how it goes. :good:
