They only grown to be 4" long, but LiveAquaria says they should be kept in a 50 gallon minimum tank. I resisted the urge to get some on impulse today, seeing as how I haven't the room for them yet, but once my 29 gallon is cycled and planted, I was thinking about keeping something I don't have many of (as opposed to the cories and livebearers). And, that said, are cories and livebearers good tank mates, or are kribs too agressive for these kinds of fish?

i currently keep mine in a 27 gallon community but id wait for some more replies i had no aggression probs so far

I don't know much about kribs, I kept them when I was little, but try posting in the african cichlids forum, that'd be a better place for this post :)

I have a pair of kribs in a 20 g along with approx 20 fry.
there are no other fish with them.

I have just aquired two kribs in mine 29 gallon aswell, they seem fine. they were in my mates 20gallon.

Tank size is ok, but I would be little worried for corys when kribs start to spawn.

The cories could always be moved if it got really bad. What about a BN or other small pleco? Something a little bigger than the Kribs for activity at the bottom of the tank, would that work?
