Can these fish live togetheR?

No they can't because the tiger barbs will see the angelfish's long fins and say bon appeite  Sorry but thats what will happen those tiger barbs will eat those long finns up. But if you don't get the tiger barbs then you can get angels and black tetras. What size tank do you have?

I agree. Tiger Barbs are "nippy" and angel fish fins are perfect for nipping! They could end up with shredded fins that can get infected. Fin rot is not fun...

I would say no. Are the cases where people have done it...yes. But their not enough to warrant doing it. Some people have gone over Niagara Falls in a barrell and survived...most have not. You should not hop in a barrell too, just becuase a few people have been successful.

My TB's have been with everything from goldfish (i know, i know) to Congo Tetras, To Rams, to Loaches, to Keyhole Cichlids to Red Tail shark and they have only ignored 2 of those fish. The loaches (god knows why) and the shark becasue he's a sultry mofo and bites back. They take a run at everything else Ive ever had. Luckily the setup I have now is made of fish that will nip back if they try anything so its become pretty balanced.

IMO Angels are just too big of a distraction for the barbs. I mean they try nipping my keyhole's fins every now and then...and they don't have big fins at all and are somewhat active.

So to make a long story short...Most everyone would reccomend against it, but if you get a big tank and the right number of barbs...you might pull it off, but the odds are heavily stacked against you.

Actually, 16 people have gone over the Falls in a barrel - 11 have survived. Two of them made it twice.

(Note to everyone else: We both live about 20 miles up river from Niagara, but on opposite sides of the Canada-U.S. border/Lake Erie.)

Is that so? Wow...didn't know that...I never liked the Falls anyway...except the casinos.
