just a regular pleco but i like them the best! Their cheap yet good to have. Toss one of them in and a few corys and your tanks set ofr life . My san juan cory likes to sit on my big moma pleco. itas funny.

Sure looks like one cute baby common plec to me!
Just wait until he grows huge, then you will love him more!

oh so it is a common plec, so, this guy will gorw huge!

his colors are good too good for a common but oh well, and here is his story

i went to the fish store choose a plec (black common) and the employee (he knows me well) said that the is a biger plec on the other tank and it was!! only by .5 inch so i was like, ok sure, then i started to notice that this one has beutiful colors, beter than a common

and he was very cute when he was in the bag

anyways, will this guy turn tottaly BLACK when he grows older?

EDIT: his top fins raise when he is swiming, like a sail fin...he is so beutiful!

He is really cute Kevin, but if you want a really black pleco, go check out my Medusa head in the fish pic section (can't remeber the name of the forum... too late). I love all kinds of plecos, common was one of my first one. Mine grew too big for my 72 so I gave him to someone who had 100 or 120 gallon (can't remeber). You will love him!
