Hi mark,
Have you tried heading down the south of the country. Next time you have an afternoon to spare I recommend you jump in your motor and get on the M1. There are two very good cichlid stockists that I frequent regularly one is called the aquatic village in Brittas Dublin and the other is FishFX in dun laoghaire. You will be pleased to find that most if not all the fish are labelled and the guys know what they are talking about (most of the time).
If you are going to make the trip I would recommend that you check out the “live stock” list here at the aquatic village web site and see if there is anything you like before you make the trip. I have purchased most of my fish from the aquatic village, I find the fish of good quality and reasonably. I would also purchase a insulated box to get the fish home in!!!
