Any clever people want to tell me what that all means in English.
I know my water is soft (low GH) but anyone got a calculation for exactly what it is?
And also my KH is low, which annoys me...I've been putting a small amount of BiCarb in every other water change to compensate.
Also are my plants likely to suffer in any way?

You have soft slightly alkaline water with some salt in. It also has some nasty undesirables like lead and aluminium. There is a small amount of chlorine and some nitrates, which is typical in English water supplies.
The things that concern me are the lead and aluminium. I'm not sure why you have that in your water unless you have really old lead pipes in the house, or your water supply is being contaminated by something. Do you have any refineries or smelters (for melting metals) around the town you are in?

I'm not sure if there are any nearby.
And when I say trace...it's because the levels were measured in micrograms. I thought they were worth mentioning but really aren't in any proper amounts.

I think in the last proper survey something like 40% of UK water supplies still hit lead pipes at some point in their travel to your taps....although figures thrown around the industry i work in can be up to ten years old
