Can Plants Survive In Cycle?

I am putting the water in two tanks tommorow (40L and 60L) and im just wondering once I fill it up with tap water and use TapSafe will Live Plants survive in the tank while i cycle it?

yeah they will use up some of the ammonia nitrite and nitrate

no, a cycle cant be sped up, bacteria grows and reproduces at a given rate, you may need to add a little more ammonia to combat the plants using it as food
