Can Lyretail And Balloon Mollies Mate?

I have lyretail and balloon mollies in the same tank. My balloon mollies are male and my lyretail molly is female. Will she be able to conceive?

Balloon mollies are just mollies with a bit of a spinal deformity from their genetic makeup. They will mate just like any other molly if given the chance. The real question is whether the female will cooperate. I have no answer to that because I don't keep any balloon mollies.
