Can I .....

Yes you can. I have had Platies, Guppies and Mollies in together with no problems. (Other than the many Mollie fry!). Good luck with your new fish. :)

Great thank you, I had read that guppies and platys can not go in together, so I though i'd ask you all here lol

I haven't heard of that. They are peaceful community fish. You have to be careful of some fish because they will nip the fins of fish like fancy Guppies. I never saw my fish nip each other. You have to be careful with livebearers to have the right ratio of males to females. Too few females and they can be pestered too much. I had all male Guppies and they were fine. I think my Platties must have been the same sex because they never bred. :) The Mollies are the most active IME they are always chasing each other and breed like crazy. I just moved all my fish to a bigger tank and the Mollie population has exploded! I have 20+ fry. I cannot buy any other fish until I have rehomed them (to lfs).
