Can I Use Normal Silicone Grease?!

Hey, I've got a external filter and the isolation valves are leaking on the rubber seals, would ordinary silicone grease effect the fish if I used it to reseat the rubber o rings? Cheers. Luke

It should be fine, I've used it myself

My tube of silicon grease is labeled for use on vehicles and I have been using it on my sealing rings for years.
