Here it is.

Step by step guide to Riccia and Java Moss

Careful, however, there is a disclaimer about using nets. Remember, some fish species have spines on their pectoral fins that can get caught in the netting.

Corydoras have no sense of boundaries or territory. They will go where they please. Definitely part of their charm, but it makes them one of the most accident prone fish I've ever kept.

very true they just amble along, it is cute though!

but alas they have ruined it again [its just the shultzei's! im sure its because ive got more of them than the other corys so that they feel the need to show off to each other!] sadly a nice aquarium carpet is not for me

i might just look into foreground plants...

I have shower 'scrunchies' that I have unraveled into a tube like state. I cut off sections of the tube, putting them over the riccia and rapping/securing them with light fishing line. A couple pieces of advice, from what I have seen. First off, I used large bulky rocks and didn't get the riccia throughout the surface and sides. Use flatter or non-thick rocks/slate. You may still have to re-wrap after a month or two, but prune once a week. As for my problem (meaning that the riccia is not growing on the edges), I am gowing to tie java moss down to the rocks, covering the edges that don't have riccia. I am hoping this will help keep down the riccia and blend the thick pieces of slate better in my scape.
