Can I Use Any Noodles, Or Do They Have To Be Aqaua One?

the filter didnt come with any, but i have found these on ebay

its a aqua one tank/filter so what do you think? thats a 500g box by the way x

They look good to me, as long as the bacteria can grow on them thats all your need at the end of the day.

Yep, any noodle that fits in the area will work.

Just make sure you put them in loosely, sometimes those noodles if jam packed in there lose alot of surface area and you wont be able to host a big enough supply of bacteria if your heavily stocking the tank, but if i remember correctly your planning on putting in a quantity of Blue platys (or is this for the angle breeder tank).

Either way, just keep em lose, and you can even experiment with different sized noodles.

Its much like the ceramic ones i use in my eheim pumps. and with that experience ive learned that a "noodle" with a larger inner diameter works best, due to the fact that your noodles are going to contact with each other on the outside so the highest surface area will be on the inside of the noodle itself.

Granted thats all overkill on the detail, for your needs those noodles will be just fine.
