Can I Use An Internal And External Filter Together?

hi, ive finished setting up my 180l tank but the only filter i have is a fluval 205, i also have an internal filter from my 90l jewel tank so wanted to know if it would be ok to run the two filters together (1 at each end of tank) to get the water clear untill i can afford a better external like the ex1200 or so,

any ideas will be great

It would be perfectly fine Many people run their tanks of just one or the other, but both togeter gives a better filtered turn over, and should also give better water quality.

yes sounds ok,,,what is the stock of tank

stock is mainly neon tetras, guppies, corydoras and a pleco

yes thats sounds ok.......just make sure intake pipe has a good cover over it,,,
